Osun renewed hope ambassadors inaugurated, target one million votes

By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo –
The South-West Zonal Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Adedayo Adeyeye, has charged newly inaugurated Osun State Local Government Ambassadors to take President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s achievements to the grassroots, declaring that the President remains the best Nigeria has ever produced.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Osogbo on Tuesday, Adeyeye urged the coordinators to be worthy ambassadors of the President by propagating his policies and programmes across the nooks and crannies of the state, noting that the focus of the campaign is not just victory but a massive margin of success.
According to him, Tinubu’s record in office gives them a strong product to sell to Nigerians, adding that the coordinators must deploy total energy and commitment in promoting the ideas, policies, and programmes of the President.
Also speaking, Osun Renewed Hope Ambassador, Oluomo Sunday Akere, said the ambassadors were given three clear mandates by President Tinubu through the national team led by Governor Hope Uzodinma: political mobilisation, political outreach, and political engagement.
Akere disclosed that the movement is targeting nothing less than one million votes for President Tinubu in Osun State in 2027, stressing that grassroots mobilisation would also deliver the APC governorship candidate in Osun, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the August 8, 2026, election.
In his remarks, the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, said he has been moving around local governments over the last four weeks, spreading the goodwill of President Tinubu and educating party members on the achievements of his administration over the past three years.
Oyebamiji added that the engagement also aimed at uniting party members and preparing ahead of the August 8, 2026, governorship election.
He expressed confidence that with the Renewed Hope message spreading across the state, the APC is well positioned for victory in Osun in 2026 and 2027.
