The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced a one-week mid-semester break for students of the institution, starting from Thursday, April 10 to Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

This was contained in an internal memorandum signed by the institution’s Registrar, Abiodun O. Olaleye.

The school also disclosed that the matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session, earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, April 10, 2025, has been postponed.

Olaleye stated that the break was granted in response to appeals from students who have yet to pay their school fees and complete their registration procedures.

The statement reads:
“In view of the pleas and appeals received from some students who have not been able to pay their school fees and complete their registration formalities, Management has magnanimously granted a one-week mid-semester break from Thursday, April 10 to Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

“This is to allow all defaulting students to pay their school fees and complete their registration procedures.

“Consequently, the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Session, earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow, Thursday, April 10, 2025, has been postponed. A new date shall be announced in due course.

“All students are therefore enjoined to take advantage of this break to pay all outstanding fees and complete their registration, as no further appeals shall be entertained.”
