Over 100,000 visits Lagos Tourism Trade Fair

Over 100,000 people on Saturday visited the ongoing Lagos Tourism trade fair organized by the State Government in partnered with Naija Brand Chick and NBC.
The over 100,000 residents in Lagos who participated engaged in buying and selling to improve the State’s economy.
At the opening of the NBC Tradefair in Ikeja, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr Idris Aregbe said the state targets N5 billion in sales at the fair.
Mr Aregbe, who described the partnership with other sponsors as a huge success for Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs, assured them especially the youths of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration commitment to ease of doing business in the state.
The convener of NBC Tradefair, Mrs Nelly Agbogu, thanked the Lagos State government for supporting MSMEs, expressed excitement that traders at the fair were cashing out in millions despite the economic meltdown.
Some customers as commending the initiative for subsidized prices on goods and services at the Tradefair.
Meanwhile, the Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade, has commended the Lagos State government for creating enabling environment for business to thrive in the state.
Princess Kolade who is also a philanthropist gave the commendation while fielding questions from newsmen at the ongoing three-day Naija Brand Chick Tradefair at Ikeja.
Iyalaje Oodua also assured traders that President Bola Tinubu’s administration would continue to work in tandem with its renewed hope agenda to address the challenges confronting them.
Princess Kolade who noted that though the economic policies of the Federal government may be harsh at the moment, expressed optimism of a better Nigeria after the reforms.
