Owu youth trained on proposal writing, public speaking

The Solace Foundation, in partnership with Moremi Consulting Limited, has organized a free training on proposal writing and public speaking for young people in Owu, Ogun State.
The session, held at the Owu Palace in Abeokuta, aimed to equip participants with essential skills for career and business growth.

Speaking at the event, HRM Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, emphasized the importance of proposal writing in enhancing global career competitiveness. He encouraged participants to actively engage and apply the knowledge gained.

Facilitator Ms. Oluwayemisi Folarin highlighted the need for research and alignment with organizational goals in proposal writing to increase success rates.

The training covered structuring winning proposals, tailoring content to specific audiences, and crafting persuasive narratives and budgets.

Olori Ameenah Adeleye Matemilola, Executive Director of Solace Foundation, noted that the initiative was designed to empower youths and business owners with the skills needed to secure funding and sponsorships, ultimately fostering economic growth within the community.
