Oyebamiji celebrates Oyetola at 72, commends his service to humanity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the August 15 governorship election in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has celebrated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, on his 72nd birthday.

Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, described Oyetola as an exemplary leader whose contributions to humanity through public and private service had left lasting footprints, adding that his track record of service, leadership and achievements had distinguished him in the various positions he had occupied.

In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Oyebamiji expressed appreciation to Oyetola for his fatherly role, mentorship and support, which he said had contributed to his growth.

“With a heart full of joy, praises and gratitude, I heartily rejoice and felicitate my boss, our leader, mentor, father and destiny-helper, the former Governor of our dear state and the current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Dr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.

“My boss, I salute your courage. Even in the face of adversity, you remained unperturbed. I equally treasure your avowed commitment, dedication, astuteness, forthrightness, genuineness and unconditional love for me in particular and humanity in general.

“As a man of proven track records in both the public and private sectors, you have indeed demonstrated quality leadership on all fronts. As a man of integrity, discipline, loyalty, sacrifice and honesty, your immense contributions to the growth and upliftment of our party and its faithful cannot be quantified. We are proud of your indelible imprints and wealth of experience that have impacted greatly on humanity.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of our party, I celebrate with you, your family, political and professional associates, as well as well-wishers all over the world, on this day of birth. Happy birthday, sir,” Oyebamiji said.

Oyebamiji, who served as Managing Director of Osun State Investment Company Limited (OSICOL) and Commissioner for Finance under Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Adegboyega Oyetola, also served as Special Adviser to Oyetola before his appointment as Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).
