Oyebamiji sends New Year message to Osun residents, harps on hope, unity

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has extended New Year greetings to residents of the state as they usher in 2026.
Oyebamiji commended the resilience and patriotism shown by the people of Osun since the creation of the state, urging them to remain hopeful for a people-centred and progressive government in 2026.
In a statement marking the New Year, he acknowledged the prayers and steadfastness of citizens, noting that these have helped keep the state stable despite challenges.
He described 2026 as a year of manifestation, fulfilment, prosperity and all-round growth for the state and its people.
The APC candidate called on residents to continue to uphold the virtues of love, unity, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence, especially as the election period approaches.
He also urged support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the Federal Government is working to stimulate the economy and strengthen the nation.
Oyebamiji expressed confidence in leading the APC to victory in the August 8, 2026 governorship election, pledging inclusive governance if elected.
He assured the people that his administration would prioritise sustainable development across all sectors, while wishing residents a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
