Oyebanji unveils Ekiti aerial mapping project

The governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji on Wednesday unveiled the State’s Aerial Mapping Project.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Office of the Commissioner for Information, the project was to capture the State’s geography as part of the ongoing GIS mapping initiative.
The post read in part, ” The project is designed to implement a comprehensive Land Administration solution that will enhance the government’s planning capacity and improve service delivery to residents of the state.

“The State Government has assured that comprehensive safety measures have been put in place for the aerial survey, with strict monitoring to ensure public and national security.
“The mapping will provide accurate geospatial data to guide land use, urban planning, and development, while boosting investor confidence and reducing land-related disputes”.
