Oyebanji will record 100% victory in my constituency — Rep Bamisile

By Boye Oyeyemi –
House of Representatives member, Femi Bamisile, has said he has mandated his 35 aides to mobilise party members in support of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, ahead of the October 27 governorship primary.
Bamisile, who represents Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, disclosed this during a virtual meeting with his aides on Monday, urging them to rally APC members across Gbonyin, Emure, and Ekiti East local government areas for the governor.
In a statement issued through his media office in Abuja, the lawmaker expressed confidence that Oyebanji would secure “100 per cent victory” in his constituency. He noted that the governor had earned the trust of party members through appointments and developmental projects.
He cautioned members against divided loyalty, stressing that Oyebanji had shown respect for party leadership and structures by allowing them to run the affairs of the APC without interference.
“It is rare to get a leader like Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who is not power drunk. A leader who allows the party leaders and members to take ownership of the party’s operations, at a time when some governors were riding roughshod on their parties,” he said.
“I have confidence that the governor will record 100% victory in my federal constituency, not on the basis of emotion and undue partisanship, but on the premise of performance,” he added.
Bamisile pointed to the reconnection of Gbonyin and Ekiti East to the national grid after over a decade in darkness as one of Oyebanji’s major achievements.
He also listed the construction of the Isinbode-Ara-Ikole road and agricultural cluster farming in Emure as projects that had endeared the governor to the people.
