OYES cadets back ‘hardworking, promise-keeping’ Oyetola’s re-election

Cadets of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) in Odo-Otin Local Government have declared their readiness to work for the re-election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
They attributed their decision to the character and performance of the governor, whom they described as a hardworking leader and a promise keeper.
This is as the Special Adviser for Water Resources and Energy, Mr. Felix Adeniran Ibitoye, rallied support for Oyetola, adding that he is both an inspiring leader and a credible politician
Speaking at the end of a 3km solidarity walk in Odo-Otin, the Cadet Mentor for the local government, Omotosho Moshood Olalekan, lauded Oyetola for honouring his different promises to the citizens of the state.
“Governor Oyetola is a good leader, a man of his words, a leader who only says what he is able to do. This level of integrity has endeared us to him, and we are ready to work diligently for his reelection for a second term in office.
“This is a governor whose character and disposition to work align with our creed. Our slogan is ‘hardwork’, and we are happy to align with Governor Oyetola who is a confirmed hardworking man, and one who is focused on the right priorities .
“We cannot afford not to support a man of his standing. We are not only ready to support him, but also willing to mobilize for him,” Omotosho said.
Another cadet, Oyinlola Modinat, said the decision to support Oyetola was based on the good treatment they had received from his administration.
“We are determined to support him because he has been good to us. He is taking good care of youths, and through this scheme, he is taking youth engagement many steps higher. So, we are fully ready to support him,” she said.
Adeniyi Segun, who spoke glowingly about the impact of Oyetola, said supporting the governor’s reelection is a worthy venture.
Adeniyi commended Oyetola for spreading the dividend of democracy to every nook and cranny of the state, adding that the era of marginalisation of grassroots are over under Oyetola.
Earlier in his remark, Adeniran Ibitoye, lauded the OYES cadet for identifying with Governor Oyetola, adding that they have made a decision that is best for their welfare and wellbeing.
He said Oyetola has proved doubters wrong since becoming governor, adding that his performance across different sectors attest to his capacity to further transform Osun.
