Oyetola visits Olubadan, lauds monarch for visionary leadership, selfless service to Yorubaland

The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja at his palace on Thursday in Ibadan.
During his visit, the minister paid homage to the esteemed monarch and engaged in discussions focused on national development, purposeful leadership, and the general progress of the South-West region.
Oyetola praised Oba Ladoja for his long-standing contributions to peace, unity, and political stability in Ibadanland and beyond, recognizing the monarch as a guiding pillar of wisdom and continuity in the region.
While receiving his guest, Oba Ladoja welcomed the miister warmly and lauded his record of service, particularly his style of leadership in advancing Nigeria’s marine and blue economy sector.
The monarch went further to encourage Oyetola in his efforts to harness the country’s maritime resources, urging him to continue driving economic growth and job creation.
The visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between traditional institutions and public office holders, emphasizing their shared responsibility in promoting development, strengthening community ties, and maintaining regional stability.
