Oyo Advisory Council hails Governor Makinde over Circular Road project

The Oyo State Advisory Council has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his commitment to road infrastructure development, particularly the ongoing 110-kilometre Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road project in Ibadan.
Council Chairman, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), led members on an inspection tour and commended the project’s quality, pace, and potential to ease traffic congestion, boost economic growth, and enhance inter-state connectivity.
He described the Circular Road as a “legacy project” that has already begun opening up new towns and investment corridors.
Ayorinde urged citizens to take ownership of the project, stressing its significance for the state’s future.
The inspection covered sections from the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway through Oluyole, Ona-Ara, and Egbeda LGAs, with the team guided by the Commissioner for Works and Transport, Hon. Mojeed Mogbojubola.
Other Advisory Council members present included Hon. Babatunde Oduyoye, Alhaji Bashir Ajibade, Chief Adewale Atande, Hon. Abiola Ajaja, Dr. Aderemi Ayodele, Pastor Akinade Alamu, and Alhaji Rasak Gbadegesin.
