According to the Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe, about 800 officers will participate in the exercise, which has received the approval of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Aderibigbe explained that the written examinations will begin on Monday, September 29, 2025, while the oral interviews are scheduled to hold from Monday, October 6, to Thursday, October 16, 2025.
He noted that the written tests will take place at the Local Government Service Commission Training Centre in the State Secretariat, Ibadan, while the oral interviews will hold at the Civil Service Commission Conference Hall, also within the Secretariat.
The Chairman outlined that the assessment will include weeding tests, extended interviews, and commissioners’ interviews, stressing that the final selection will be strictly based on merit and competence.
He urged all applicants to take note of the dates and venues, and to ensure punctuality and compliance with the examination guidelines.
The conversion and transfer of service exercise is part of ongoing efforts by the Makinde-led administration to strengthen the state’s workforce and promote professionalism across the civil and public service.
