According to him, key developments include:

Fasola Agribusiness Hub — Recognized as Nigeria’s first Agricultural Transformation Centre, it hosts 14 companies cultivating 950 hectares, processing cashew, tomato, and cassava, and supporting nearly 1,000 dairy cows.

Youth Empowerment — Over 5,000 youths have been trained, with 1,000 set to receive ₦1.5 billion in enterprise support through a state-FCMB partnership.

Livestock Value Chain — Oyo is building a Livestock Transformation Centre to enhance cattle production.

Upcoming Hubs — Construction of the Ijaiye Agribusiness Industrial Hub, with over 40 planned industries, is set to begin. Similar hubs are planned for Eruwa, Oke-Ogun, and Ogbomoso.

The OYSADA boss also announced a strategic partnership with France-based Rungis-Semmaris to establish a world-class wholesale agricultural market in Ijaiye, aimed at reducing post-harvest losses and retaining economic value within the state.

He emphasized that Oyo’s agribusiness model is balancing local food security with export-driven production, positioning the state as a leading agricultural industrial hub in Nigeria.
