Oyo Deputy Speaker empowers constituent members, reiterates more commitment

The Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Abiodun Fadeyi has reiterated the commitment of his administration to improve the lives of members of his constituency in Ona Ara, through adequate representation and provision of life changing items and materials
Fadeyi gave the assurance at the empowerment scheme he organized to reach out to members of his constituency at Ilaji Hotels and Sport Resort, Akanran.
The lawmaker said members of his constituency deserve the best, hence the reason he decided to provide them with quality empowerment materials that will make them self-reliant.
He said the distribution of items such as deep freezers, grinding machines, cooking gas, farm sprayers among others is in line with his electioneering campaign promises, just as he urged them to make good use of the items for their benefits.
Fadeyi admonished them to support his ambition and the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration beyond 2023.
It would be recalled that the lawmaker had provided several boreholes and disbursed cash to empower women across the 11 wards in the council area.
Speaking at the programme, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Ona Ara Local Government, Mr. Mosobalaje Bakare commended the legislator for the gesture, describing him as a true representative of his people.
Also in his address, Chairman of the council Musibau Adesina, commended the lawmaker for deeming it to fulfil his promises to the people.
