Oyo lawmaker, Segun Popoola to be buried Wednesday

Oyo State House of Assembly has released final burial arrangement programme for late lawmaker, Hon. Ademola Olusegun Popoola.

According to the burial arrangement, Christian wake keep will hold on Tuesday at Odeicos Event Centre, Ashipa in Ibadan, while special plenary sitting/lying in state will take place on Wednesday 27, 2022 at the House Chamber, Oyo State House of Assembly, secretariat, Ibadan, after which he will be committed to mother earth.

The lawmaker, who represented Ibadan Southeast constituency II in the House of Assembly died on July 12, 2022 from kidney related illness at the University College Hospital (UCH). He was 46 years old.

Until his death, he was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
