PDP constitutes 9-man reconciliation committee for Lagos, Osun

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a nine-man reconciliation committee for Lagos and Osun states.
PDP South West Zonal Publicity Secretary, Sanya Atofarati, said the committee is expected to address all issues within its members in the two states.
Former governorship candidate of the party in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede chairs the committee, while Kayode Adaramodu is the secretary.
The committee had its inaugural meeting at the Osuntokun Zonal office of the party in Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday.
All members of the Zonal Executive Committee and chairmen across the six states of the zone were present at the inaugural meeting.
The zonal chairman, Soji Adagunodo in his address, harped on the need for unity among party leaders in ensuring victory for the party across the South West in coming elections.
Jegede assured of the committee’s readiness to use the privilege of the assignment and its experience to bring the party back to its winning streak.
After the inaugural meeting, the committee members then paid a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
The governor admonished the committee to leave no stone unturned in ensuring all stakeholders and interests are captured.
He assured them of his support where and when necessary
