PDP, Adediran commiserate with Lagos Assembly, APC over lawmaker’s death

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State and its governorship candidate, Olajide Adediran (Jandor) have sympathised with the state House of Assembly, All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Mushin over the sudden death of Hon. Abdul-Sobur Olawale (Omititi).

The lawmaker, represented Mushin Constituency II died in Jos while attending the presidential campaign flag off the APC.

Lagos PDP, in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Mr Hakeem Amode on Friday, said that the opposition party and its governorship candidate, joined the ruling party in mourning Olawale.

“We commiserate with the family and members of the APC in Mushin Local Government Area and we pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“On behalf of the state executives, our gubernatorial candidate and entire members of the Lagos state PDP, please accept our heartfelt condolences,” he said.

He prayed God to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljanna Firdaus.

Until his death, Olawale was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Community Affairs.

His body was laid to rest at Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi on Wednesday.

Olawale, a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, was born on March 12, 1964.
