Pete Edochie opens up on secret behind 57-year marriage

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has shared insights into how he has sustained his 57-year marriage to his wife, Josephine.
Edochie made the revelation during his Legacy Gala in Accra, Ghana, on Sunday, while responding to a question about how he had remained married to one woman for nearly six decades.
The legendary actor attributed the longevity of his marriage to marrying young, staying focused and avoiding distractions.
He also disclosed that he keeps himself occupied at home with activities such as reading and listening to classical music.
According to Edochie, his Christian faith has also influenced his approach to marriage and life, helping to shape his values and decisions over the years.
The actor, however, acknowledged that the longevity of his marriage does not make him a perfect husband, noting that a lasting relationship does not necessarily mean there have been no challenges.
His comments have since attracted attention online, with social media users discussing his 57-year marriage and the factors he identified as contributing to its longevity.
