PHOTO NEWS: Adelabu meets Oyo APC leaders as 2027 governorship race heats up

Chief Adebayo Adekola Adelabu, popularly known as Penkelemesi, has intensified his political consultations ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State with a strategic meeting held on Friday, July 4, 2025, with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders from the four local government areas of the Oyo Federal Constituency.

The meeting, aimed at strengthening party unity and mobilization, follows a similar engagement with stakeholders in the Ogbomoso zone, as Adelabu continues to rally support across the state.

Confirming the development on Saturday, Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, the federal lawmaker representing Atiba/Oyo West/Oyo East/Afijio and Chairman of the House Committee on the South West Development Commission, expressed confidence in the growing support for Adelabu’s candidacy.

“Consultation continues, and the APC is in action,” Adeyemi said, noting that discussions focused on unity, party supremacy, and strategic planning for the upcoming elections.

“In God we trust,” he added, signaling strong optimism about the party’s readiness for the 2027 polls.
