PHOTO NEWS: Akande, Mimiko, Adebayo, Monarchs storm Oke-Imesi Ekiti for Dare Babarinsa 70th birthday

Former Governors of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, former Governors of Ekiti, Segun Oni and Niyi Adebayo were among prominent Nigerians and traditional rulers that converged on Okemesi Ekiti on Friday to celebrate the 70th birthday of veteran journalist, Mr. Dare Babarinsa.

Mr. Babarinsa is Chairman of Gaskia Media Group and co-founder of TELL Magazine. Other prominent personalities at the event were Senator Babafemi Ojudu, traditional ruler of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, the traditional rule of Erinmope Ekiti, Oba Sunday Aikuirawo Aniyi and Dr. Tunji Olugbodi, Group Chief Executive of Verdant Zeal among others.

Earlier before the birthday service at the St. Michael Anglican Church in Okemesi, the traditional ruler of the town had honoured Babarinsa and his wife Modupe with Chieftaincy title of Bobagunwa and Yeye Bobagunwa of Okemesi-Ekiti
