The spirit of Lagos came alive at the London Mayor’s Show in United Kingdom where the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu led the state contingent which included Aig Imoukhuede, former Group Managing Director of Access Bank and other top government officials to showcase the investment opportunities in the state across sectors.

The Governor marketed the state as the melting pot as well as the cultural and financial capital of Nigeria where the energy and creativity of the youth and the enterprising spirit of residents combine to make the state strong and resilient.

Governor Sanwo-Olu who took to his social media pages to share his experience at the show wrote: “Today at the Lord Mayor’s show in London, we told the story of Lagos representing Nigeria and indeed Africa.

“In Lagos, the heartbeat of Africa, our sights and sounds tell a powerful story—a fusion of creativity, rich history, and a boundless future.

“From vibrant streets to the echoes of our culture, Lagos is a canvas painted with resilience, diversity, and the rhythmic beats of progress.”
