After two years break, President Muhammadu Buhari received guests and senior government officials in sallah homage at the state House in Abuja.

Leaders that paid the traditional homage to the President include Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan, Federal Capital Territory Minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, FCT Minister of State, Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina among others.

The President cancelled the traditional sallah homage in 2020 and 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
