The first Prostate Clinic in West Africa has opened in Lagos State.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, inspected the facility, owned by private investors, on Friday ahead of its official opening.
With this new facility, Lagos State is becoming a center of attraction for multipurpose and specialist hospitals in Nigeria.

Writing about the visit, Governor Sanwo-Olu posted on his social media pages:

“Today, I visited The Prostate Clinic, the first center in Nigeria and West Africa offering robotic and laparoscopic surgery for prostate cancer. Located right here in Lagos, it reflects our growing status as a destination for advanced, precision-led medical care.

“Lagos is attracting the best medical innovation and talent. What I saw today is a blueprint for the future, where cutting-edge technology meets clinical excellence. Our administration will continue to create an enabling environment for world-class healthcare to thrive.

“Let us continue to work together for a healthier future and a healthier Lagos.”
