All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his counterparts from Ogun and Ekiti States, Dapo Abiodun and Abiodun Oyebanji were in Akure, Ondo State yesterday for the inauguration of the party’s Campaign Council for the November 15, Governorship election in Ondo State.

Incumbent Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa who succeeded the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is seeking a fresh term in office and will contest against candidates of other political parties.

Writing on the inauguration in Akure via his social media platforms, Governor Sanwo-Olu said:

“Today, we inaugurated the National Campaign Council for the Ondo State governorship election in Akure, as we rally our collective efforts to support the election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

“The upcoming election is not just about choosing a leader; it’s about choosing a future that will benefit the citizens of Ondo State.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa embodies that vision, and I am confident that we can communicate the transformative agenda he has for Ondo State.”
