PHOTO NEWS: Keyamo inaugurates new FAAN board, Ganduje named chairman

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, on Wednesday, inaugurated the newly constituted Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), ushering in what he described as a new chapter for the country’s aviation sector.
The inauguration, which took place in Abuja, saw the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, OFR, appointed as Chairman of the Board.

Keyamo said the new board has been carefully selected to provide visionary leadership and drive major improvements in airport operations, infrastructure, and security across the country.
“The new Board is tasked with steering FAAN towards safer, more secure airports, sustainable infrastructure development, improved passenger experience, and stronger partnerships for aviation growth,” he said.

Keyamo expressed confidence in the board’s ability to transform Nigerian airports into symbols of national pride and global standards.
