The end-of-year festivities have started early in the Centre of Excellence and commercial nerve centre of Nigeria with the kickoff of the Lagos International Theatre Festival, curated by BAP Productions.
Bolanle Austen-Peters, Director of BAP Productions, took to social media to share pictures from the opening night, featuring several Nigerian celebrities and thespians from South Africa who performed at the event.
In her post, Austen-Peters wrote:
“The Lagos International Theatre Festival kicked off in style last night with Theatre Meets Food at Kaly Restaurant (@kalyexperience).
If yesterday is anything to go by, then you are in for a lot of fun and laughter. There was a beautiful performance by the South Africans (@sastatetheatre). Get your tickets @officiallitfest_ before we get sold out.”
