PHOTO NEWS: Mutfwang, Bala Mohammed, Adeleke, Adelabu honour Seyi Makinde at brother’s funeral

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, his Osun and Bauchi State counterparts, Ademola Adeleke and Bala Mohammed were among dignitaries that attended the funeral service of Governor Seyi Makinde in Ibadan, Oyo State yesterday.

Mr. Sunday Makinde, is Governor Makinde’s eldest brother who passed on at the age of 65 years recently.

Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu was among top politicians and government officials that also graced the occasion.

Governor Makinde wrote on his social media pages:

“We laid our eldest brother, Sunday Makinde to rest today. As I said in my remarks, Sundo has lived and left. But his works live on and his deeds will go well with him. Rest well Sundo, until we meet to part no more.

“Let me use this opportunity to thank everyone who joined us for the funeral rites. I especially thank my brothers: HE Bala Mohammed; HE Ademola Adeleke; HE Caleb Mutfwang; Chief Bayo Adelabu and HE Monday Onyeme, Deputy Governor of Delta State, who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the funeral.”
