PHOTO NEWS: New Force PRO, Hundeyin, assumes duty in Abuja

The new Force Public Relations Officer for the Nigeria Police Force, Chief Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, has officially assumed office in Abuja.

Hundeyin takes over from Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Muyiwa Adejobi, who has been redeployed to the Delta State Police Command as deputy commissioner in charge of operations following his recent promotion.

Before his new appointment, the new Force PRO was the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command.

Hundeyin expressed profound appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

“Today I assumed duty as the Force Public Relations Officer @PoliceNG Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“My immeasurable gratitude goes to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for finding me worthy of holding this position. To all Nigerians, I promise to do my best in the discharge of my duties.

“So help me God…🙏🏻,” he wrote on x.com.

The new police spokesman holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language from Lagos State University and a master’s degree in legal criminology and security psychology from the University of Ibadan.

He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the International Public Relations Association, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).
