PHOTO NEWS: Oba of Benin attends mid-year Thanksgiving church service 

Oba of Benin, Omo N’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo on Sunday in Benin, attended a mid-year thanksgiving service at the Holy Aruosa Cathedral.

The church service had prominent people from Benin and Edo State in attendance to celebrate with the respected monarch. Labour Party Governorship candidate, Olu Akpata joined distinguished indigenes to worship with the monarch.

Akpata took to his social media handles and wrote:

“Today, I had the distinct honour of attending the midyear Thanksgiving service of our revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, CFR, the Oba of Benin. The service, held at the historic Holy Aruosa Cathedral in Benin City, was a profound celebration of our rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.

“The service was a beautiful display of unity, bringing together people from all walks of life. As we joined in celebration and gratitude, it reaffirmed the enduring strength of our shared heritage and the blessings that continue to grace our land. Oba ghato o kpere! Ise!!!”
