PHOTO NEWS: Obasanjo meets President Tinubu in Owerri

For the first time since he assumed office on May 29, 2023, President Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo met today in Owerri at the inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma for the second time.

Former President Obasanjo supported Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party in the election Tinubu won. He didn’t not attend the inauguration event of Tinubu as President at Eagle Square Abuja.

It will be recalled that former President Obasanjo, in a letter to former President Muhammadu Buhari called for the cancellation of the result of the last presidential election over what he termed irregularities.
