Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Governors Olusegun Osoba, Ibikunle Amosun and Minister of Communications and Innovation Bosun Tijani were among top indigenes of Abeokuta that graced the Lisabi Festival on Saturday where traditional attires and high fashion adorned by sons and daughters of Egbaland were on display.
The Egba people gathered in Abeokuta for the annual Lisabi Festival to honor their legendary hero, Lisabi Agbongbo Akala, a fearless liberator whose legacy continues to unite Egba sons and daughters from around the world.
This year’s celebration, themed Ègbáliganza 2025, merged cultural pride with modern flair.
The grand finale dazzled with glamorous fashion displays featuring traditional Ofi, Adire, and Afrocentric attires.
