Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun on Saturday conferred honourary chieftaincy on Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and his wife, Dr. Hasfat Ganduje

They were coronated as the Aare Fiwajoye and Yeye Aare Fiwajoye of Ibadanland. The Gandujes are in-laws to Ibadan people by virtue of the marriage of their daughter to the son of late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

The event was attended by All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a close friend of the Gandujes and top politicians and business people from Kano and South West states.
