PHOTO NEWS: Oyebamiji seeks support for APC ahead of 2026 governorship election
Former Osun State Commissioner for Finance, Bola Oyebamiji, has called on indigenes of Ikire to rally behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2026 governorship election in the state.
Oyebamiji made the appeal during an interaction with members of the Ikire community in Ibadan on Sunday, where he was accompanied by his wife.
Describing himself as a “proud son of the town where the sun sets,” Oyebamiji said the visit provided an opportunity to reconnect with his roots and mobilize grassroots support for the APC in the lead-up to the next election cycle.
“I used the occasion to seek their support for the APC in the 2026 governorship election and beyond,” he posted on his social media handle on Monday.
Oyebamiji is believed to be one of the political figures positioning for greater roles within the APC ahead of the forthcoming polls in Osun State.
