Governor Oyebanji, in a social media post, wrote:

“I joined Ekiti people at the 2025 Ekiti State Government Carol Service held at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic and Convention Centre, Ado-Ekiti. It was a beautiful time of worship, thanksgiving and reflection as we celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ together as one family.

“Moments like this remind us of the importance of faith, peace and compassion in our daily lives. I encouraged our people to use this festive season to spread love, show kindness to one another and remember the less privileged among us, as this is the true essence of Christmas.

“I am grateful to God for His grace over Ekiti State and for the peace we continue to enjoy. As we look ahead, my prayer is that the joy of this season will strengthen our unity and renew our collective commitment to building a better Ekiti for all.”
