PHOTO NEWS: PDP Governors meet in Asaba, seek end to party crisis

Governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are meeting in Asaba, Delta State, to resolve the crisis that has rendered the party ineffective.

The PDP has been bogged down by internal wrangling over leadership positions and infighting among governors regarding who should occupy key party roles, particularly the position of national chairman. As a result of the crisis, the party has been unable to hold its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
