President Bola Tinubu on Friday attended one of the wedding ceremonies hosted by the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, for his children at the National Mosque, Abuja.
Matawalle and his family are hosting what appears to be one of the most elaborate wedding schedules recently staged in the Federal Capital Territory, with ceremonies for 10 of his children spread over several days.
According to the programme shared by the family, the tightly packed events began on Tuesday and concluded on Friday.
The series of traditional and social rites took place across Maitama, Wuse 2, Mabushi, and Asokoro, effectively turning parts of Abuja into a circuit of wedding venues within the same week.
President Tinubu’s presence at the National Mosque ceremony added high-level prominence to the wedding marathon, which attracted top government officials, political associates, and well-wishers from across the country.
