PHOTO NEWS: Scholars, policy makers, leaders mark Fasoranti 100th birthday with lecture in Ibadan
South-West leaders which include academics, development experts, politicians and other stakeholders gathered in Ibadan on Tuesday to mark the 100th birthday of Yoruba leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti in Ibadan.
The centenary anniversary lecture put together by the DAWN Commission had in attention Senator Femi Okunroumu, Dr. Tokunbo Dosunmu-Awolowo, Mr. Wale Osun and others in attendance.
Director General of the DAWN Commission, Dr. Seye Oyeleye praised Pa Fasoranti for his consistency and commitment to progressive ideals and development of Nigeria.
Speakers after speakers who addressed the topic: “A century of witness”, recalled the pivotal role played by Pa Fasoranti in the struggle for the independence of Nigeria and his contributions towards the educational advancement of the South West.
