PHOTO NEWS: SGF hosts induction retreat for newly appointed ministers

The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) held an induction retreat on Thursday for newly appointed ministers, focusing on aligning them with the administration’s policy priorities.

Hadiza Bala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination and Head of the Central Delivery and Coordination Unit (CRDCU), attended the retreat, noting that the program was designed to familiarize ministers with President Bola Tinubu’s policy objectives.

Bala explained that the retreat aimed to help ministers understand their roles, align with the administration’s goals, and set clear expectations for their service.

The retreat addressed key governance areas, including ministerial roles and responsibilities, financial regulations, public service integrity, media relations, and citizen engagement.

Among the notable presenters were former SGF Boss Mustapha, Accountant General of the Federation Mrs. Oluwatoyin Madein, and EFCC Chairman Mr. Ola Olukoyede, each providing essential insights to prepare the ministers for effective governance.
