Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday attended the Nasarawa Investment Summit 2026 in Lafia, where he said President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms are “rebuilding the pillars every state depends on,” including energy reliability, fiscal balance, and tax reform.

He described the Lafia Declaration as “an economic covenant” and noted that “states now have greater room to think, to build, to invest, and to respond to the needs of their people with renewed confidence.”
