PHOTO NEWS: Shettima commissions Nigeria’s biggest lithium processing plant in Nasarawa
Vice President Kashim Shettima (centre), representing President Bola Tinubu, commissions the Diamond New Energy lithium processing plant in Nasarawa State on Thursday.
The facility, described as Nigeria’s biggest lithium processing plant, is expected to boost local value addition in the solid minerals sector, create jobs and strengthen the country’s participation in the global critical minerals value chain.
Also present were Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, traditional rulers, government officials and representatives of the investing companies.
