PHOTO NEWS: Soludo attends Igwe Nwewi’s 59th Ofala festival

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo on Wednesday attended the 59th Royal Ofala and 97th birthday ceremony of Igwe of Nwewi, Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III.

Soludo described the monarch as one of the longest serving traditional rulers in Nigeria and in the world.

The governor wrote via his social media handles: “yesterday, I was at the 59th Ofala and 97th birthday ceremony of one of the longest serving Monarch in Nigeria, and perhaps the world – Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III, Igwe of Nnewi.

“Igwe’s longevity on the throne is a reminder of God’s abundance grace, and I do not fail to pray for same each time I encounter Igwe who has become a model for successful aging. Congratulations to Igwe Orizu III and Ndi Nnewi.”
