President Bola Tinubu on Friday flagged off major development and security-related projects in Katsina State as part of his two-day working visit to the North West.
The President was received by top dignitaries upon arrival and used the occasion to reaffirm his administration’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s armed forces. He pledged the deployment of advanced weaponry, improved intelligence, and robust logistical support to combat insurgency and other security threats.

While addressing frontline troops, President Tinubu emphasized that the welfare of soldiers remains a top priority alongside military readiness.
“As your Commander-in-Chief, I am fully aware of the challenges you face,” he said. “We are taking bold steps to equip you with advanced weaponry, superior intelligence, and strong logistical support—not only to defend this nation but to dominate and defeat every adversary.”
