PHOTO NEWS: Tinubu honours Caribbean icons in Saint Lucia community

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in Saint Lucia as part of his ongoing state visit to the Caribbean nation.
The President arrived at the institution on Tuesday and participated in a series of cultural and academic engagements celebrating the island nation’s intellectual and artistic heritage.

During the visit, Tinubu watched a cultural performance by students showcasing Saint Lucian traditions and heritage.
He also toured the Sir Derek Walcott Library and laid wreaths at the gravesites of Nobel Laureates Sir Arthur Lewis (Economics) and Sir Derek Walcott (Literature).

As part of the visit, President Tinubu was conferred with Saint Lucia’s highest national honour in recognition of his leadership and commitment to strengthening ties between Africa and the Caribbean.
