PHOTO NEWS: Tinubu, Oluremi lay wreath at Tomb of Unknown Warrior in London

President Bola Tinubu and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey, as part of activities marking the President’s official visit to the United Kingdom.
The solemn ceremony, held inside the historic Abbey, was in honour of fallen soldiers and symbolised Nigeria’s respect for shared history, sacrifice and longstanding diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom.

The Tomb of the Unknown Warrior is a memorial dedicated to unidentified soldiers who died in war, particularly during the World War I, and remains a significant site of remembrance for visiting world leaders.
President Tinubu on Tuesday arrived in the UK on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom in key areas including trade, investment, security and climate cooperation.
