“Education is the way of the future. If we don’t want our children to remain backward, we have to invest in education.”

Oba Olaoye acknowledged the warm welcome accorded him at the Gbegiri Nite in London, saying “It was a delightful and joyous occasion as I reconnected with my fellow sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland…to share our 25-year developmental plan for transforming Ogbomoso into a modern town.”

The king concluded that by making investments in the betterment of the town, a vibrant community that would be a beacon of success and prosperity could be built in 25 years.

He urged Ogbomoso indigenes to work together to achieve the development goals and guarantee the long-term growth of the town.
