Police arrest Ikeja Chairman of tricycle riders association for assaulting officer
Police on Saturday said it has arrested Ikeja Chairman of Tricycle Riders Association, Oladimeji Ahmed for assaulting officer.
Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin in tweet on Saturday stated that Ahmed, 48 years old, assaulted officer who was trying to impound a motorcycle obstructing traffic in Ikeja, Lagos.
According to him tweet, Ahmed assaulted an Inspector of Police who attempted to impound a motorcycle and arrest the rider for flagrantly obstructing traffic in Ikeja at about 1800hrs on Friday, August 9, 2024.
