Police investigate suspect after mysterious death of employee in Ondo
By Boye Oyeyemi –
The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the mysterious death of a young man, Isaiah Bademosi, inside his employer’s residence in Ile Oluji.
Police spokesperson, Olushola Ayanlade, confirmed the arrest and said an investigation is ongoing, assuring that “no stone will be left unturned in unraveling the mystery surrounding his death.”
Isaiah’s sister, Rachel, recalled her last conversation with him, explaining that he borrowed her phone on the night of his death.
According to her, at about 10:16 p.m., Isaiah called using his boss’s phone to ask for her password. That, she said, was the last time she heard from him alive.
By the next morning, Rachel said she was informed of his sudden death and, upon arriving at the house, claimed she saw blood through her brother’s employer’s bedroom window.
She further alleged that the authorities moved his body to the mortuary without notifying his wife or family. The case, she added, was later transferred to the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) in Akure.
The development sparked protests on Sunday, as youths and relatives marched through Ile Oluji demanding justice.
“This is not just about my brother. This is about justice for every family. Nigerians must help us get answers,” Rachel declared.
