Police IRT boss, Disu, wins US Open judo silver medal
Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) unit, Tunji Disu won a silver medal at the US Open Judo Championship over the weekend.
According to reports Disu, who is a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), won silver in minus 100kg category of the veteran division.
The competition had over 500 veteran champions across the world.
Disu’s win came at the time Nigeria is celebrating global prominence in sports after Tobi Amusan broke the World Record at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA last week.
