Police raid gay wedding in Delta state, declare Oliseh Great Ojue wanted over alleged homosexual involvement

A Magistrate Court sitting at Warri Magisterial District of Delta State, yesterday, the 4th of December 2023; has sentenced one Mr. M Apkofure for his involvement in a same-sex relationship with One Mr. O Ojue (who is now at large) in accordance with Nigerian Same-Sex Prohibition Act of 2014.

Our investigation revealed that the duo of the said M Akpofure and O Ojue have been in the now held to be illegal relationship since their final year university days.

While delivering the judgement, the court held that, on 26th Day of August 2023; a gay wedding was organized and took place at Teebolous Hotel, Refinery Road, Ekpan, Warri, Delta State. The Nigerian Police raided the illegal event where about 100 attendees were arrested and paraded (including Mr. M Apkofure) who our sources say under questioning, revealed O Ojue’s name as his partner to the Police. However, the Nigerian Police has since on the 7th day of November 2023, declared Mr. Ojue wanted after he refused to report to the Ikorodu Divisional Police Station in Lagos State where he was initially arrested and taken into custody.

Mr. O Ojue was arrested on the 25th day of October 2023 and later released on bail on the 27th of same month on health grounds much to the dismay of local residents who have been calling for his head; but since the 2nd of November 2023, the said Ojue has refused to report to the Ikorodu Divisional Police Station after he was told to return. Our sources close to the family disclosed that Mr. Ojue may have fled the country to a yet to be ascertained destination.

As at the time of filing this report, Mr. Ojue is in his mid-Twenties and a university graduate of Delta State University, Abraka Delta State; and hails from Abbi village in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State. He was last seen in Lagos State, Nigeria.

A representative of The Nigerian Police Force revealed to our correspondent that they have rightly taken up increased interest in the matter with an ongoing nationwide search and have appealed to the public to assist in his apprehension. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to report to the nearest Police Station.
