By Tosin Brown –
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has fired back at fellow artist Bella Shmurda, calling him a failure after the latter said he couldn’t collaborate with the ‘Zazoo’ crooner.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable insisted that Bella Shmurda could never match his level of fame or global reach.
“Anytime you wan do interview, don’t mention my name again. You can’t feature me? I’ve been to America, London. No be who first blow o, na who dey blow dey go,” Portable said.
He continued, “Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures.”
Bella Shmurda had earlier made the comment during an interview with Isbae U on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast. He explained that he didn’t see any artistic synergy with Portable and preferred to avoid trouble.
“I just don’t see the connection in the music. I don’t want wahala, I want peace,” Bella said.
